NJK 2009

 Power. Grace. Elegance.
$55.00 per Bottle

NJK are the initials of the wineries owner, Nimrod Kovacs, and thus this wine is intended to represent the winery as its flagship wine, one worth of carrying the owners own initials as its name. The 2009 vintage of this flagship cuvée is made out of traditional varietals from our Grand Cru Nagy Eged vineyard. It offers a complex succession of different flavors, which include plum liquor, smoky raspberry, and bramble, which are further complemented by aromas of allspice and tobacco. Only 3196 bottles were made of this stunning vintage, which is lovely now but will only get better with age.

This great vintage scored a 91 point gold medal from the Beverage Tasting Institutes World Wine Championships, a gold medal at the 2015 Prestige Reserve, a silver medal at the Vinalies Internationales 2016, and a bronze medal at the 2015 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.
